Flea Treatment, Control and Prevention

If your cat already has fleas before the first dose, adult fleas will be killed, and no viable flea eggs will be produced afterward, thus stopping flea reproduction
An environmental infestation of fleas may continue for a brief period after beginning treatment because of the emergence of adult fleas from pre-existing pupae
Large reductions in flea infestations are to be anticipated after treatment as flea eggs and larvae in surrounding areas are killed or prevented from developing to adults
For prevention and control of fleas, administer at monthly intervals throughout the flea season to ensure fleas are killed and no viable flea eggs are produced
This breaks the flea life cycle, controls and prevents flea infestations and improves the clinical signs associated with flea allergy dermatitis
It is recommended that all cats, dogs and other animals in the same environment are treated with an effective flea control product

Tick Treatment and Control

A single dose treats and controls paralysis ticks (I. holocyclus) within 72 hours of infestation for 5 weeks after treatment
Starts to kill paralysis ticks within 24 hours after the first treatment and is effective at killing new infestations within 48 hours
Monthly treatment may begin at any time of the year and should continue without interruption in areas where ticks are common year-round
During the tick season, daily searching for and removal of any ticks is recommended

Heartworm Prevention

For the prevention of heartworm disease, apply on a monthly basis
It may be applied year-round or at least within one month after the animal’s first exposure to mosquitoes and monthly thereafter
If a dose is missed and a monthly interval between dosing is exceeded, then immediate application and resumption of monthly dosing will minimise the chance of adult heartworm formation
When replacing a different monthly heartworm preventive product, the first dose of Revolution Plus must be given within a month of the last dose of the previous medication
May be safely applied to heartworm infected animals; however, all animals ≥ 6 months of age should be tested for existing heartworm infections before starting medication
This product is not effective against adult D. immitis, but it may reduce the number of circulating microfilariae

Intestinal Worm Treatment and Control

For the treatment of adult intestinal hookworms (A. tubaeforme) and adult roundworms (T. cati), apply as a single treatment
Monthly use will control hookworm and roundworm infections

Ear Mite Treatment and Control

Directions for use

Press cap until you hear a ‘click’ – remove the tube from its protective package. Hold upright and press the cap to puncture the seal. Remove the cap to apply the product
Part your cat’s hair on their neck so that the skin is visible and touch the tube tip on the skin. Squeeze tube 3 or 4 times in one spot
Squeeze the tube to empty entire contents – keeping the tube squeezed, glide it along the skin and away from the liquid, then lift the tube off. Ensure the tube is empty before disposal

Not for use in kitten under 8 weeks or weighing under 1.25kg

For the prevention and lasting control of flea infestations, Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten should be applied at monthlyintervals throughout the flea season, startingone month before fleas become active. This ensures that fleas infesting the animal arekilled and that no viable flea eggs are produced by these fleas. Flea larvae in the animal'ssurrounds are also killed by Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten. Thisdose must be given within one month after the last exposure to mosquitoes. If a dose ismissed and a monthly interval between dosing is exceeded, then immediate application ofPet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten and resumption of monthly dosing willminimise the opportunity for the development of adult heartworms. When replacing anotherheartworm preventative product in a heartworm disease prevention program, the first doseof Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten must be given within a month of thelast dose of the former medication. Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kittenmay be safely applied to heartworm infected animals, however, it is recommended, inaccordance with good veterinary practice, that all animals 6 months of age be tested forexisting heartworm infections before beginning medication withPet Lovers Club ProtectFLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten.

EAR MITE TREATMENT

In field studies,with a potential for re-infestation, a single dose of Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLWPup Kitten eliminated ear mites in 100% of cats, and two monthly doses of Pet LoversClub Protect FLW Cat/Pup Kitten eliminated ear mites in 90% of dogs. A single dose ofPet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten was also found to be 100% effective intreating ear mites (Psoroptes cuniculi) in rabbits. Monthly use of Pet Lovers Club ProtectFLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten in dogs and cats will treat any subsequent ear mite infestations.Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten is suitable for a single treatment inrabbits. Cleansing of the infested ears is recommended to remove the debris.

SARCOPTIC MANGE TREATMENT FOR DOGS & RABBITS

For elimination of Sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei), Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten should be applied once and ishighly efficacious as a single dose. A second monthly dose of Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten may be required for complete elimination of mites in some dogs. Monthly use of Pet Lovers Club ProtectFLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten will treat any subsequent Sarcoptes mite infestations. Pet LoversClub Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten is suitable for a single treatment in rabbits.

NEMATODE TREATMENT FOR CATS

For the treatment of intestinal hookworms (A. tubaeforme) and roundworms (T. cati),Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kittenshould be applied once as a singletreatment. Monthly use of Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten will controlhookworm and roundworm infections.

LICE TREATMENT

A single dose of Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten was 100% effectivein treating biting lice in dogs (Trichodectes canis) and cats (Felicola subrostratus) with nolice found in laboratory studies at all assessment between 7 and 42 days post treatment.

A single dose of Pet Lovers Club Protect FLW Cat/FLW Pup Kitten eliminated sucking lice(Linognathus setosus) in 90% of treated dogs when assessed 28 days after treatment.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Apply one (1) tube topically to the skin at the recommended minimum dose of 6 mg selamectin per kg bodyweight once a month.

Hold the tube in an upright position facing away from you and your pet's eyes. Screw the cap off the tube.
The pet should be standing for easy application. Apply the product directly to the skin without massaging into the site. Part the hair on the back of the pet in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the tube through the pet's hair to the skin level and squeeze the tube thoroughly to ensure the entire contents are applied directly in a single spot onto the skin.

This product is not for use on cats, puppies and kittens less than 6 weeks of age and rabbits less than 8 weeks of age and
DO NOT USE in rabbits that may be used or processed for human consumption.

PARAGARD ALLWORMER

Tablets are palatable and maybe administered directly as a treat or for fussy catscrushand hide small portions in favorite moist food.
Fleas are intermediate hosts for tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum).

DOSEAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dosage and Administration

Offer the appropriate size chew for the dog’s body weight at monthly intervals
For dogs over 60 kg – administer the appropriate combination of chews for the dog’s bodyweight

Encourage the dog to chew rather than swallow the whole chew without chewing – the chew can be broken into smaller pieces or added to a small amount of food, if necessary
